The metal pendants are stamped into heavy copper or bronze.  For the colored ones, six distinct shades of rich cloisonne enamel are then hand applied, fired in a kiln, then polished to a brilliant luster. Then the whole thing is plated in 22k Gold or Sterling Silver.

The Mother of Pearl pendants are natural shell with the symbols applied in full color through sublimation printing right here in Indiana by Lois Jensen.
