Spread the message of the oneness of humanity with this reversible 4-season garden flag and make everyone in your neighborhood feel welcome.
The WeR1 (We Are One) Family design has been a favorite for years. Its creative use of negative space was inspired by Robert Indiana’s LOVE design, while the message – spelled out in numbers and letters – was inspired by the Baha’i Faith.
The unique reversible design of the flag itself allows you to change which color scheme faces outwards to reflect the season. Winter is high-contrast in snow white, spruce green, evening sky blue and cardinal red. Spring is pastel in pink, yellow, spring green and sky blue. Summer is our original colors in primary red, royal blue, grass green and just a splash of sunflower yellow. Autumn is more muted in a deep green, pumpkin orange and two shades of yellow – squash and corn.
The flag is printed on a heavy 12×36″ piece of fabric, then folded in half and tied with a loop of thread about 2 inches down on each side. These loops keep it from sliding off your flag stand, but also allow it to be turned inside out to show the inner two designs. It goes on a standard garden flag stand (not included) that is designed for 12×18″ flags. They are available in most garden and crafts stores. I got mine at Michael’s Crafts. for $6.99. You can also put it on a dowel rod and hang it on your door. Depending on where you put it and how the sun shines on it, the flag can last four times longer than a one-sided flag. All flags, because they are printed in ink or dye, will eventually fade in the sun, so choose your spot accordingly, and plan on replacing it in a couple of years.
This flag can also be used for information tables and carried in parades. We sell matching buttons and stickers for when you use them for teaching.
