This weekend we celebrate the Twin Festival of The Birth of Baha’u’llah and the Birth of the Bab. I hope you take this opportunity to set aside the current craziness and look forward to the bright future we have been promised.
In honor of Baha’u’llah’s Birthday, I’m putting the 50-pack of these useful teaching cards on sale. They contain an entire pamphlet’s worth of information in a 2-sided double-businesscard-sized card. Carry them with you, or drop one in an envelop with a letter to a friend. They come scored for easy folding, and have a place to write your contact information on the back. (Front and back are pictured before folding.)
It coordinates with our matching booklet.
With the arrival of the Publishing Trust Datebook, you can now get all three of the most popular calendars at one place – the Datebook, the 2-Sided Wall Calendar and the Multifaith Calendar.
This year’s datebook is a beautiful deep teal that complements the lovely picture of the Inner courtyard of the House of Abdu’llah Pasha. Some of the most poignant, dramatic and historically significant events of the Heroic Age of the Bahá’í Faith are associated with the house of ‘Abdu’lláh Páshá, named after the governor who built it.
As usual, it runs from January (2021) through March (2022) and has squares big enough to write very small notes, with diagonal color blocks to mark significant days. It is 3.5×6.5″ and fits in a shirt pocket or purse.
We’ve been making these two-year calendars for several years now. We’ve fine-tuned their design to give you the very best in beauty and utility.
They are:
More useful: Our calendars include popular American holidays alongside Bahá’í Feasts and Holy Days. You can tell, for example, when Thanksgiving falls in relation to the Day of the Covenant. National holidays, and other important days like Mother’s Day are marked with squares, while Bahá’í Feasts and Holy Days are marked in different colors of circles.
More beautiful: I am thrilled to be able to use the artwork of Colette Odya Smith on both sides of my new 2021-2022 American/Baha’i Wall Calendar. Her work is so beautiful, it often makes me want to weep, but these two pieces will make you want to sing. 2021 is “The Secret Door,” and includes the quotation “Every created thing in the whole universe is but a door leading into His knowledge…” 2022 continues the theme of openings with a piece called “Inside the Garden.” The quotation for it reads “The gates that open on the Placeless stand wide…” I encourage you to visit her website to see scores of additional works that will amaze and inspire you.

BTW: In case no one told you, the Leather bound Prayer Book is finally back in stock after almost a year. It is my favorite.
