World Citizenship

When you feel like a world citizen you recognize the fundamental unity of all people regardless of where they happen to live. You value all people and feel a sense of unity with the entire human race. Be a citizen no only of your country, but of the world.

Here’s an idea: Using our World Citizen flag as a backdrop, encourage people to take selfies of themselves, then reward them with a button, sticker, tattoo or awareness bracelet, along with a World Citizen ID Card. You can even print their picture and hang it on a wall of world citizens. Some communities are also making physical frames with “World Citizen” or the quotation that people can pose behind with the flag, banner, or a map behind them.
