Limited Edition Deluxe Baha’i Sacred Writings

I’ve been waiting over 50 years for this book! As a new Baha’i, the most popular book was Baha’i World Faith*. It included some of the most important writings of both Baha’u’llah and ‘Abdu’l-Baha in one volume. It was often the first book given to new Baha’is and serious seekers. Sadly, it included some unauthenticated tablets, so after its 1971 printing, it was discontinued.

But now! It has finally been replaced by Baha’i Sacred Writings – a single volume with many newly-translated tablets as well as old favorites organized in useful topical sections.

There is only one problem…

We all know that we are not supposed to judge a book by its cover, and yet we all do. Sadly, this amazing compilation has been given a cover that is, at best, boring. It deserves so much more. That is why we are offering these DELUXE editions with colorful yet dignified dust jackets designed by Joe Paczkowski and Justice Saint Rain.

Let me be clear: This is exactly the same book as you can get from the Baha’i Distribution Service for $2.50 less, but with a beautiful full-color dust jacket added to it. It turns this dull, dark blue paperback into a vibrant volume that serious seekers and new Baha’is will look forward to exploring.

I’m offering three versions, but only have 50 of each of them.

The Dark Green, designed by Justice, is a classic design with a fancy script font and ornate rectangular border around the title. It has a similar feel to the trade paperback editions of the Sacred Writings published a few decades ago. The bright blue and green with peach covers, designed by Joe Paczkowski, have a more modern feel, with a bolder font and flowers, stars, birds and butterflies in the background. All three have the title on the binding so you can find it on your shelf.

*An historical note: Baha’i World Faith replaced Baha’i Scriptures, which had a dark blue-black cloth cover that the current book attempts to duplicate with limited success. The printed cloth texture is overwhelmed by the bright glossy finish.

Note: When I received the books from the BDS, I discovered that shipping was $1 more per book than expected, so I raised the price by $.50. Sorry for the confusion. I sold over 1/3 of them in one day.
