Our new 2025 American/Baha’i calendar is a one-sided 12-month calendar that has Feasts, Holy days, Federal Holidays, as well as significant UN Holidays and other “special days” like Mother’s Day marked in color-coordinated circles and squares. The name of each holiday is listed with its date down the right-hand column for easy reference. The colors of the numbers rotate between plum and blue each Baha’i month.
There is a story behind this year’s artwork. The same day that I posted a request for artwork submissions on FaceBook, Karen had a stranger walk up to her at Farmer’s market and hand her this picture. It is a soft-focus photoshop image based on a photograph taken of one of the bouquets that Karen had sold the week before. How could I turn down this bit of serendipity? We contacted the woman. She said that she had heard nice things about the Baha’is, and we could use the artwork free of charge.
The quotation is from ‘Abdu’l-Baha, and says:
“Let us strive like flowers of the same divine garden to live together in harmony.”
In other words, it is not enough to simply know that “we are flowers of one garden.” We must strive to act like it, by living together in harmony.
Flat size is 11×17″, scored and drilled at the top. It ships folded.
Note: we will not be doing a 2-year calendar this time. Printing prices have soared. We did lower the price of the five and fifty-pack of calendars to compensate, but the single calendars are hard to ship without damaging them. They often add to the shipping cost, even though they are light so I couldn’t lower the price on them.
