Among the newly-translated prayers released by the Baha’i World Center were two revealed on the occasion of the birth of a son and the birth of a daughter. These sweet prayers, asking for blessings for the infants and their parents were just crying out to be turned into canvas prints for the nursery.
These are perfect baby shower gifts.
The originals of the charming border artworks were hand-painted by Baha’i Pioneer Susan Reed, who also did the border for our Remover of Difficulties teaching card and our Birds of One Nest wedding card. As you can see, the composition was designed so the two prayers could be hung side-by-side in a nursery or children’s classroom.
They come in one size, but two mat colors. You can order one or both prints, in either the same or contrasting mat colors. Please put one item in your cart at a time (but they can be ordered in the same order).
Please note that in order to keep the font legible and make it match the girl’s prayer, I removed an introductory paragraph on the boy’s prayer. I think that if you read it, it retains the essence of the complete prayer.
Because computer monitors are all different, I’ve included a photo of the mat colors behind a dollar bill. The mock-ups are computer-generated, but they came out closer in color than my actual photographs, so I used them instead.
This is NOT a Print-on-Demand product, so it will ship with your other items. They come matted with a cardboard backing in a clear plastic sleeve, but there is no hanging hardware included.
