No room in my heart for violence Button

Our “No room for PREJUDICE” materials have been wildly popular, but prejudice is not the only issue threatening the human heart. That’s why when a women’s shelter asked me to make these “No room in my heart for VIOLENCE” buttons, I was more than happy to oblige.

In the years since, we’ve all come to realize that it is not just physical violence that we need to shield our hearts from, but also the violence of hateful rhetoric, the violence of words and images, the violence of political extremism and much much more. As “talking heads” work the world into a fearful frenzy, we need to remember that our hearts can’t afford to make room for violence of any kind.
