This slogan was the winner of our 2024 Interfaith Resources T-Shirt slogan contest.
It was inspired by a beloved quotation that was the basis of a lovely children’s song:
“Strive that your actions day by day may be beautiful prayers.”
The phrasing on the shirt turns it into a kind of a blessing, which reminded me of the Irish blessing “May the road rise up to meet you.” This inspired me to use the font “celtic” and to use a traditional celtic pattern for the background.
May you feel blessed every time you wear it, and may you be a blessing for everyone you meet by making each of your actions a beautiful prayer.
PLEASE NOTE: The Purple and the Royal Blue shirts have a completely different design. Why? Because I couldn’t decide which version I liked the best. Please look before ordering.
Within a week of announcing this shirt, we were receiving requests for a long sleeve version, so here it is. It runs a little smaller than usual, so you might want to order up a size.
Also note that I’m having the design printed a little bit bigger on the long sleeve shirts than on the short sleeve shirts, as people tend to wear them baggier.
A bit more formal than a standard-issue t-shirt, the ultra cotton long sleeve tee is a clear comfort winner. The sleeves also act as a nice frame. There are no side seams. The shoulders are taped for improved durability. This makes for a good fitting around the shoulders and neck. The cotton used for these shirts is environmentally friendly.
