Let your kids fall asleep to the soothing glow of a constellation of nine-pointed stars.
Kids love things that glow in the dark, so this collection of 76 nine-pointed stars and 36 diamond “flairs” will be an exciting addition to your child’s bedroom. Ranging in size from .5 to 4.5 inches, there are enough stars to create a galaxy of patterns across their walls and ceiling.
Assuming that their bedroom receives a normal amount of light during the day and before bedtime, these vinyl stars will glow for several hours after the lights go out. I have one on a light switch that I can still see at 3:00am.
Pictured is a wall mural during the day, and then again at night. The stars are pretty invisible until you turn the lights out. You can also see how the diamond flairs make the stars seem even bigger. You can see that one set – two sheets – is enough stars to create quite a night sky.
When you remove the stars from the clear backing, try to pull two points at a time so you don’t put stress on the inner angle. The adhesive on these stars is fairly permanent. They are repositionable when first applied, but expect to have to repaint the room if/when you decide to remove them. (You will probably be doing that anyway as your kids outgrow their old fashion sense.)
Of course, they can also be attached to phones, games, light switches, TV remotes, lampshades, flashlights, door knobs, bottles, door frames, and anything else you would like to be able to find more easily in the dark. During the day they are a light greenish shade of white that is pretty invisible on white walls.
They come on 8×11″ sheets. 2 sheets = 76 Stars + 36 diamond flairs
