Pen of Glory

Rebekah’s Well tells the lives of women and men mentioned in the Hebrew Bible, the New Testament and the Qur’án as well as those from Bahá’í history, recounted in the story-telling tradition.

Rebekah, wife of Isaac, daughter-in-law of Abraham, changes the course of history when she assists her second-born son, Jacob, to take the birthright from his brother, Esau. The consequences  of her action reverberate throughout the ages.

Pen of Glory paperback is a volume that contains the same Writings as the hardback volumes Gems of Divine Mysteries and Tabernacle of Unity combined.  These are the two most recently translated collections of Baha’u’llah’s Writings.  The first is similar in flavor to The Seven Valleys, and the second has some of my favorite verses, including a joke told by Baha’u’llah.

This compilation is unique because the selections come from from Baha’u’llah’s responses to specific questions from people wanting to know more about the principles of the Baha’i Faith and its teachings.

Because the people writing came from various religions backgrounds, their questions elicited responses that provide the reader with a broad understanding of the central tenets of the Baqha’i Faith.

In each of the works included in this volume, Baha’u’llah responds to the question of a seeker and then expounds on various related spiritual themes. In doing so, He has provided a collection of writings of enduring and far-reaching significance that remains applicable to the questions of religious seekers today.

It has paragraph numbering.
